FPS Conversion Chart

Posted by Emilee Hisey on

If there is anything we've learned selling equipment over the last several years, its that manufacturers tend to list an averaged FPS and not the ACTUAL FPS that each individual batch is coming off the line at. (Example: Our G&G CM16 Raiders. Manufacturer says 335fps. Batch we receive in January may chrono at 340, batch in March is 355, batch in April is 325, etc etc.) So while your gun may say an FPS on the box, keep in mind to give it a clearance of 15fps over/under. If you want to be absolutely sure- use a chrono.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Regardless of what your gun would shoot at with heavier bbs - never use any bbs under 0.20g for mid-high end guns!

We have created the chart below with the most general bb weights.
