The Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle (SCAR) was developed by Belgian arms manufacturer, FN Herstal as a reliable modular combat rifle for the US Special Operations Command to replace the M4A1 carbine used by Special Forces.
The FN SCAR features ambidextrous controls and a reversible charging handle. The single piece upper receiver features an uninterrupted top rail with removable side rails and bottom rails.
